Izzy and Jean prides itself providing quality goods made with ethical and sustainable practises. We care about people and our planet and we believe we are all in this together. 

We ensure we are working with partners and manufacturers who use recyclable, organic, and natural materials in the product processes. I personally ensure every product created is nature-friendly. We practice zero-waste and only work with companies who recycle and reintegrate back into the manufacturing production cycle, minimising waste and the environmental footprint. We ensure the entire supply chain is adhering to the highest environmental standards.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Here at Izzy and Jean we love the planet! And we work hard to make sure we play our part. Our dedication to sustainability means that we exclusively use partners and suppliers with recyclable, organic, and natural materials in their production processes so every product sold is nature friendly.

OUR PARTNER in TURKEY
Our manufacturer in Turkey is a family business with over 40 years specialising in home and beach linens and Turkish towels. We choose them especially because they believe in integrity, and being trustworthy, ethical and dependable. Their staff (55 odd) are well cared for, and their factory is in Denzil and the head office is in Istanbul.

QUALITY CONTROL
From weaving to finishing, our manufacturer uses the finest natural materials, guaranteeing softness, durability, and superior absorbency. The fibres of their Turkish cotton are longer and finer, resulting in a smoother and softer texture compared to regular cotton.

CERTIFICATIONS
We use cotton that is natural, recycled and organic, and has the Global Oeko-Tex Certification, Global Recycle Standards, and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) ensuring our homeware meet the highest environmental and ethical standards, and means the textiles and fabrics are free of harmful chemicals and safe for human use.

PACKAGING
We are careful to use a NZ owned courier bag supplier and we buy only 100% eco-friendly recycled plastic courier bags which are recycled from post-consumer and post-industrial plastic waste.

SUSTAINABILITY
We exclusively use recyclable, organic, and natural materials in our towels. We practice zero-waste manufacturing.
